Body Plethysmograph Reports

Full PFT Reports

Since the conception of ComPAS, elegant and versatile reporting has been a priority. For interested users, a highly powerful report builder is available to allow for unlimited presentation and design. In most cases, report designs are completed by your Morgan engineer as a service provided through the ComPAS license. The capability of ComPAS reporting is like no other product of its kind! Unlike products that frustrate customers with limited 'drag and drop' report designers, the ComPAS Report Editor has vast power and flexibility. It is true to say that "you really can have your dream PFT report layout".

A brilliant library of report presentations come standard with ComPAS, but your own 'dream' layout is both welcomed and easily accommodated.

Test Reports - presentations of test data really have no limit. These can include any combination of the best pre and post results with preference of numerical column order and any of the following:

  • Logo and header design
  • Manual entry information
  • Numerous individual test graphics
  • Summary of all efforts (data and graphics)
  • Overlay of graphics
  • Past test result history

Screening Reports

ComPAS reports are a significant part of what separates this product from all other screening spirometry options. The immense power of the ComPAS Report Editor is available whatever test instrument is used. Since many Children's centers utilize ComPAS, there are a considerable number of standard screening reports suitable for CF and Asthma centers. These report designs include tracking and presentation of past data, comprehensive computer impression capability, brilliant numerical and graphics layout and electonic signatures. In recent years designs including use of Z-scores and standard deviations have added to the grand array of reporting options.

Detail Reports

Detail Reports are typically used in the ComPAS Task Manager as worksheets to review and interpret PFT tests. They can also be utilized by centers involved in clinical trials where specific data and report presentations are specified. When accessing Detail Reports in Task Manager, the ComPAS Smart Report feature recognizes what test data was completed for each patient and then automatically displays the appropriate report style. For example, if the patient only completed spirometry tests then the "Screening Report" will be displayed. If a full PFT or Bronchial Challenge was completed then the Smart Report will display the required report style.

Challenge Reports

A bronchial challenge test is a diagnostic method used to test for asthma in patients experiencing occasional breathing difficulties. The ComPAS Challenge Protocol Designer allows for many forms of challenge testing including: Methacholine, Mannitol, Exercise and Cold Air. The report output can be any combination of dose response graphics with individual flow volume efforts if desired and limitless layout of numerical data. The examples shown are only a fraction of designs available and innovative new ideas for reports are both welcomed and supported.

Six Minute Walk Reports

Six Minute Walk reports can include SpO2 and Pulse information directly imported into ComPAS by Bluetooth as well as other manually entered data. When the 6MW distance is entered, the report can show predicted and percent predicted performance. 6MW can be an individual report or incorporated within any other report style (see Full Report examples).

Lung Transplant Reports

The Lung Transplant report shown is just one example of how data can be presented. Within ComPAS the date of a lung transplant can be recorded and from that date forward serial test data can be tracked along with calculation and presentation of the Bronchiolitis obliterans scale.
