ComPAS2 Task Manager For PFT Interpretation Additional Functionality
ComPAS2 Task Manager will offer instant report rendering in a familiar and intuitive email style format, in which PFT interpretation can be completed quickly and thoroughly. When tests are completed in the PFT lab, results can be routed to any network connected station for physician interpretation. In cases when multiple physicians with interpret results, ComPAS2 Task Manager automatically routes the patient results to the appropriate physician.

The Morgan Scientific ComPAS application has been the first software that has allowed our Pulmonary Function Lab to track and trend patient testing, to create a reporting structure based on information obtained during testing, and to customize reports based on the needs of our physician teams. The integration with our EMR has been seamless and provides sustainable discreet data for trending across a lifetime. At Yale New Haven Hospital Pulmonary Function Lab, it is our vision to provide high quality, patient-centered testing on state-of-the-art pulmonary function hardware that interfaces with a consistent software platform. The more integrated the software interface is to a variety of testing equipment is vital for efficient patient testing as well to reduce transcription based errors. ComPAS 2 will offer our lab the ability to import data from the EMR to integrate and apply that data to testing scenarios. It will allow us the ability to interface patient monitoring with testing equipment output information to have a more comprehensive picture of the patient’s physiology while performing a test. With ComPAS 2 our physician teams will finally be able to view and interpret all of the testing we provide in one program and that information will be available to all providers in the EMR. We look forward to the launch of ComPAS 2 and the continued collaboration with Morgan Scientific to meet our immediate patient testing needs as well as potential options for growth of pulmonary testing in the future.
